Tour Plan
You'll be picked up early in the morning at the riad. Drive through the High Atlas Mountains to the famous Kasbah d'Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore this fortified kasbah, which has been the setting for numerous Hollywood films.
Then on to Ouarzazate, also known as the "Gateway to the Sahara". Continue on to Boulmane Dades, passing through the Valley of the roses. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, take the "route des 1001 kasbahs" to the small oasis of Tinghir. Continue through the impressive Todgha Gorge, where you'll have free time to explore the canyons and have lunch in a local café. Then on to Merzouga, where you'll meet your camel caravan. Ride a camel and discover the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Admire the sunset as the sand takes on different hues. Return to your desert camp for the night and enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner under the stars. Local nomads will liven up the evening with drumming.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi - Marrakech
Wake up early to watch the sunrise before breakfast (optional). Then return by camel to the main road, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech.
